Over 30 Years of Experience
What began as a shared vision between husband and wife team Lieber (aka Pito) and Kathryn has quickly grown into a team committed to professional landscaping design and property maintenance in Costa Rica. Serving Tamarindo, Playas del Coco, and the surrounding communities of coastal Guanacaste, Vida Verde was built on family values, hard work, and a deep respect for both people and the land.
1985
Pito started his landscaping journey at his family’s farm in Guápiles, Costa Rica, at five years old.
2013
After attending university at Rollins College and Crummer Graduate School in Florida, Kathryn graduated with her Master’s in Business, completing a sustainable entrepreneurship program at INCAE in San Jose, Costa Rica.
2014
Kathryn officially moved to Costa Rica from the United States, beginning her entrepreneurial journey with Costa Consultants – an SEO agency and digital marketing firm in Costa Rica
2025
Vida Verde Ecosystem Services was incorporated as a business in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
2026
Vida Verde expanded its landscaping and property maintenance services to include construction services related to the landscaping industry, such as land levelling and excavation, retention walls, water tank installation, fences and gates, and patios and ranchos.
